| July 7, 1980 - September 16, 1992 SIR DUNCAN'S JASPER DANIEL |
| I am not a poet, nor do I have fancy words. What I can tell you comes from my heart. Jasper was my first Boston, living on my own, after having lived with two while growing up. He came to me at a time in my life when I was alone and he became my very best friend. We shared so much together over the years. He was my very special child. We lived together for a little over 12 years when the day came that I had to make that horrible decision to release him from his pain, I had to let him cross over the Rainbow's Bridge. That day still haunts me, but, I know in my heart that as he looked at me, he was asking me to please let him go, it was time. He left peacefully, in my arms and I cried like a baby. Jasper, you are with me every day I breathe. I love and miss you so. |
