THE SUMMER OF 2006...
sit back and relax as we take you on a magic RV ride from AZ through CA,
OR, WA and back home.   We had a wonderful vacation and we even took ma
and pa along with us so, you might see their funny faces in a few of these
pictures....(snort snort)
Okay, dis is us enjoying a bit of
green grass somewhere near a
state dey call Oregon.
So after laying in da grass we
decided to snooze a bit in our big
window seat.  Dis is one of our
favorite spots so you will see us
here quite a bit....
WOAHHH...
what goes UP ....
Okay, we have to say that we LOVED LOVED LOVED the ocean!   We never put our paws in da
water before but we sure did dis time and had a blast.    We got to run and play on da sand and
had a ball!   Our mommy and daddy stayed with some friends who have property right on da
beach so we got to play every day for 2 weeks!    Here's some pictures of us playing with our
buddy LB.   Now LB is a different sort cuz she is what mommy calls a Doberman.  And man, she's
a whole lot bigger than us!!
must come DOWN!  Boy, was dis one
BIG bridge in Astoria, OR that took
us over to Long Beach Penninsula in
WA
Dis is our buddies Binkie and Ricky.   Ricky got to
go to a parade while we stayed at da beach and
guarded our house.   We also took a ride to see
Mt. St. Helen's and saw some deer along the way.
We took mom on a walk through these
beautiful trees and when we saw da blue
sky there was this huge lighthouse.  It was
pretty amazing!
We finally had to leave our little paradise on da ocean and say goodbye to our good
friends Don & Gwen and their whole gang who so graciously let us stay at their RV
pad.    Ma said we were headin to some places called Sequim and Port Angeles, WA.
I guess she has relatives that live in those places so here we come..........
Lake Crescent
We took a really long ride through the Olympic National Forest and Park and finally reached da top of dis
big ole mountain.   It was really perty up here and you could see for miles and miles and miles.

We camped out across the road from John Wayne's Marina...yup, da famous John Wayne used to own land in
this area!   Daddy got to go fishing wif some guys he met camping and we got to eat some of dat wonderful
Dungeness Crab and even saw some real live star fish!
It was time to leave da state of Washington so Oregon, here we come.......
Ma and Pa found a nice rv golf resort so they took to hitting da little white
ball while we just hung out and relaxed and enjoyed the scenery!
We then headed back to the coast to travel down Hwy 1 from Oregon and into California.
We have to say, it was the most beauteous ride ever!!!!
We saw seals on
little patches of
rocks and cattle
grazing on da ocean!
Even had a
chance to
lounge on da
beach again in
a small bay
area.
They sure do grow
some BIG Redwood
Trees in CA!
In da middle of the
big state of CA, we
even met up with
another RV'er who
had a little guy who
looked just like us.
Mom made us pose
for another picture!
We found a bit of paradise in da mountains in southern CA.   Ma and Pa said it looked like a slice of heaven
with a golf course.  They hit that little white ball while we relaxed by the small ponds throughout the Golf
RV Resort.  Ma even got to visit wif one of her bestest friends Sue, from Boston Brigade Boston Terrier
Rescue.   They spent the whole day relaxing and chatting away.  We even heard a few "snorts" from them
they were laughing so hard and loud!
Ma and Pa were talking dat this would be out last night
out and dat our magic carpet was ready to fly home
tomorrow.   Our adventure for this year has come to its
conclusion.    We sure enjoyed it and hope you did too!
This is what I (Bosley) had to say about that!
And this is what I (Bogey) had to say!
    THIS IS THE END OF
THE DUSTY TRAIL FOR 2006
